Quarry Bank Mill – Northern Woodlands Footpath
Client: National Trust
Contract Administrator: TEP
Value: £60,000
This project was undertaken in the Northern Wood of Quarry Bank Mill in order to improve access for all to the River Bollin. It involved the creation of a new accessible path for wheelchair users and push chairs from the lower garden of Quarry Bank along the River Bollin. Our works included establishing site access, removal of spoil off site, vegetation clearance, construction of an accessible path for wheelchair users with self binding gravel surface, construction of stairs and ramps and a “folly” bridge.
